Vacuum mechanics

We have developed a vacuum compatible positioning mechanism for our probes. This allows movement perpendicular to the flange plane or into the reactor. However, this linear drive is not only suitable for moving our probes. In principle, it can be used to move any kind of part. Typically, a metal rod with a screw connection (selectable size) is installed and moved into the chamber perpendicular to the flange plane. However, the mounting is variable on request. KF40 is required for mounting in the chamber. Again, alternatives can be provided on request.
There are two alternatives for the drive: One is a belt drive (not self-locking) which also requires a brake. This is the faster drive. Alternatively, there is a spindle drive, which is slower but self-locking. Both variants have limit switches for precise positioning and calibration of the zero position.
The control can be done by software or API.
